For the sake of providing a better hiking route for the country park visitors, the MacLehose Trail Section 8 along the Tai Mo Shan Road and Section 10 along the northern coast of Tai Lam Chung Reservoir will be diverted permanently starting from 1.10.2009. The new diverted routes, which comprise of forest track and footpath, start at entrance gate of Radar Station and end at Twisk Country Park Management Centre for Section 8 & start at Pak Shek Hang Dam and end at Kat Hing Bridge for Section 10. Affected distance posts involved are from M153 to M156 and from M175 to M186 respectively. The journeys are in approximate distance.
