Connecting with the Pak Tam Chung Nature Trail, this family walk starts at Sheung Yiu which is also the finishing point of the Nature Trail. After visiting the Sheung Yiu Folk Museum, visitors can walk south for about 200m, then turn left and go uphill where the trees along the path form a close canopy. The walk is lined by flowing streams, and the environment is fresh and peaceful. The middle part of the walk is rather level and have picnic sites around for a short break.

Here you can look far towards the lush mountains, or continue the walk and enjoy a barbecue at the BBQ site downhill. The Family Walk finishes at Tai Mong Tsai Road. It takes about 20 minutes to walk back to Pak Tam Chung where one can leave by public transport.
