Tai Mei Tuk Family Walk begins near Bradbury Camp.
About one kilometre in length, the trail has four
viewing points and twelve columns representing
the zodiacs -an ideal walk for family fun! Nearby
is the wide expanse of beautiful Plover Cove Reservoir.
You can enjoy attractive reservoir and mountain
views, with stunning panoramas over the waters
of the reservoir. Also in sight are the impressive
features of Pat Sin Leng, Yim Tin Tsai and Ma On
Shan. On the surrounding hillsides, you can enjoy
the various tree and shrub colours, changing through
the different seasons. And you can find your own
zodiac sign along the trail!
Tai Mei Tuk was originally a
cape extending from the foothills of Pat Sin Leng
to Plover Cove. To construct Plover Cove Reservoir,
with the largest surface area among all water storage
facility in Hong Kong, the bay was enclosed by
a 2 km dam that ends at Pak Sha Tau in the southeast.
Today, Tai Mei Tuk is a lovely oasis between Plover
Cove and the reservoir.
