Interpretation
plates introduce the wildlife and rural heritage
of Lai Chi Wo. Lai Chi Wo, a remote rustic Hakka
village, has its homes well arranged. At the entrance
to Lai Chi Wo there is a rare bed of Coastal Heritiera
and, coiling up amidst the mangroves, the giant White-flowered
Derris can be seen.
The fung shui wood
behind the village has a diverse collection of flora.
To the villagers of Lai Chi Wo, this forest commands
great fung shui and economic value. For a panoramic
view of the fung shui wood, head up the ascending
path by the village. There, you will see the strange-looking
Hollow Tree and Five- fingered Camphor.
