Peak Trail Information

Peak Trail skirts around Victoria Peak. It meets with several trails along the way to form various combinations. The section from Victoria Gap to Pokfulam via Lugard Road offers the greatest number of attractions.

As soon as you turn into Lugard Road, an India Rubber Tree with dense aerial roots stand by the trail.

Arriving at the summit of Victoria Peak, an interpretation plate tells the story of Cheung Po Tsai and his connection with the name of peak. You may leave at this point for public transport, or to walk along Pokfulam Reservoir Road on the left. This path takes you down to the 200-year-old Pokfulam Village. Take some time to explore this old settlement which is one of few existing rural villages on Hong Kong Island.
