Going uphill alongMount Parker Road, visitors soon
reach the entrance of Hong Pak Country Trail, after
turning left at the Country Park Management Centre.
Along the Country Trail there are many different
kinds of vegetation and flowers in different seasons.
Sai Wan Ho and Shau Kei Wan can be seen when walking
along some of the more spacious open areas.
Mount Parker (531m) is the second
highest spur on the Island, ranking after Victoria
Peak (552m). Rising up singularly from the lowlands,
it is a perfect site for a signal station. The wireless
signal station on its hilltop is an important landmark
of Eastern Hong Kong Island. This summit location
offers a panoramic view of Eastern District.
