Shek Pik Reservoir to Tai O Information

From the westernside of the Shek Pik Reservoir dam, walk along the five kilometre catchwater, and follow the ridge to Sham Hang Lek -where there are panoramic views of Lantau Channel. You can enjoy a good time here, at one with nature. Walking towards the west to Nga Ying Kok and passing Fan Kwai Tong, Nam Chung village and Yim Tin, you will arrive at Tai O.

Fan Lau of Lantau is famous for its water dividing line that sets apart turbid river current and beryl seawater. Jutting out into Lantau Channel, Fan Lau Kok is a cape in the south- western corner of Hong Kong. It divides Fan Lau into three bays : the exposed Fan Lau Tung Wan in the east, and the more sheltered Fan Lau Sai Wan and Miu Wan in the west.
